Vad är Digital Business – Digital Enterprise?

Vad är Enterprise Architecture – vad menar du?

Frågan måste väl åtminstone vara varför?

Jag måste erkänna – jag vet inte. Jag har inget som jag kan leda i bevis. Ingen teori att hålla i handen.

Men jag har prövat mycket, jag har experimenterat och sett vad som fungerar och vad som inte fungerar och lärt mig av processen och resultatet samt mottagandet av resultatet.

”Digital Business is the blurring of the physical to digital.” The digital interconnectedness of everything – all the time.

Things talking to things or Humans talking to things or Humans talking to humans through things.

Allt kan självläka eller beställa hjälp i förväg.
Allt kan göra konsekvensanalys och förvarna.
Allt kan köpa och sälja.
Allt kan initiera ett flöde, vara en delprocess eller slutkonsument.

You left the car in the repair shop talking to the mechanics supervisor, the mechanics supervisor tells the mechanic what the problem is and where to look for the root cause. The mechanic called the dealer for spare parts, the delivery truck guy delivered the parts, the mechanic repaired the car, told the supervisor that the job was done, the supervisor made up the bill details, the accountant made up the invoice, the bill got delivered by the postman, …

Digital – Your accounts payable pays the bill it gets from the car after it self-diagnoses, order a repair online, and then deploys the fix. Caromba är bara ett steg på vägen.

Digital är inte www, inte e-affärer – dessa är mognadssteg på väg mot digital business.

Var finns värdet i det digitala?

– Linjärt fungerar inte längre då blir du omsprungen.

+ Det digitala är multiparallellt.

– Funktionellt fungerar inte längre.

+ Det digitala är End to end och ihopkopplat.

– (värde)Kedjan fungerar inte längre.

+ Det digitala är nätverk, omni, 360, återkopplande.

– Teori, research, strategi, analys, design, implementera, köra fungerar inte längre

+ Det digitala är experimentell design, develop och deploy – hela tiden 24/7/365

Vad innebär detta för din bransch?

Tror du att Uber och Caromba är dagssländor – nischaktörer som inte förändrar något?

Det trodde folk om Google och Amazon också. Företag som tar sitt digitala kunnande vidare uppför mognadstrappan. Samtidigt som de skapar möjligheter för helt nya digitala affärer.
